Drone

My entry for DeviantsGallery's "All Things Great and Small" competition.

So happy I got this done. There was just under 3 days to the deadline when I started this. Overall I am pretty happy with the results. I tried to give as many visual ques as possible to give that sense of scale, and I hope it comes through.

I've use a mix of freebies and purchased content, as well as some of my own homebrew to give it a more personal element. The piece was rendered in three parts - sky, planet, and scene and merged in Photoshop. DOF made this process a little harder than anticipated lol. I was going to add some clothes to the guy in the background, but after a few test renders decided it fit the tone of the piece and opted to stay nude.
